“Enough”

Unfettered worry running rampant xenophobic and what for my life’s a thousand mile island distraught by measurements only understood by Americans we can sneeze we can cough blow our noses in disgust but we must remember our health fatigued and lying down catching winks sand dusting our eyes falling backward into sleep confronting pieces of our day combining with other pieces of previous days looking for patterns resolutions conflictions addictions obsessions Conan’s assistant popped culture entertaining and coaxing jocularity hoping for hilarity and no more disparity flung into a purpose and feeling like it is worth it transfixed in a gaze able to stop for a long moment birds swooping flapping and singing trees swaying and changing exposing the pathways branches open to nests and eggs and babies and regurgitation a standing ovation for Mother Nature and The Creator’s Creator creatures most with eyes and brains but not all and possibly not most not even counting the ocean’s inhabitants all eating each other satisfying stomachs everything turning to shit or manure feeding the Earth cycles upon cycles upon cycles weather life chains of food struggling and fighting violence and blood and flames cleansing the microscopic levels of bacteria would be infectors of our guts there’s never enough but really there’s more than
